Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital
Jan 27, 2026
Last week was powerful — and we so appreciate your prayer support as we celebrated life! Faith & Liberty had some exceptional opportunities to call attention to the plight of the unborn and to celebrate life, faith, and the family in a public way.

Faith & Liberty’s team co-hosted a showing of a powerful pro-life documentary, Pardon Me: The Bevelyn B. Williams Story, and a Q&A last Wednesday in the U.S. Capitol. Bevelyn, pictured in the center below, is a pro-life activist who faced imprisonment for defending the unborn. The room was packed with interested attendees, and we were joined by Silk (formerly of Diamond and Silk), one of the film’s executive producers, and our event co-hosts Dr. Alveda King and Day Gardner.
The Faith & Liberty team hosted America 250 Remembers — Remembering Victims of Roe in front of the Supreme Court last Thursday. On this solemn occasion, we laid 3,000 red, white, and blue carnations in memory of the babies daily lost to abortion. After the flowers, we had about a dozen speakers presenting at our event in front of the Supreme Court and we were able to distribute prayer journals and other key materials for those attending to take back to their state battlegrounds.
After the March for Life on Friday, our team hosted the annual Life Reception at our Ministry Center. It was very well attended, and no one wanted to leave at closing time! It was a good time for everyone to discuss and share what they are doing in their individual states in the fight for Life.
Faith & Liberty’s Peggy Nienaber also attended the Congressional Leadership “Life Reception” with members of Congress to celebrate the success of Life Week.
A few speakers, including Peggy, also shared with the Celebrate Life students from Boise, Idaho, who were eager to learn more about pro-life issues when they visited our Ministry Center during Life Week.
All of this was possible because of your faithful prayers and giving, so we thank you. It was also wonderful to see so many — tens of thousands — show up for the cause of life!
