The U.S. Supreme Court is an active place today, not to mention the fact that it’s blustery cold here on Capitol Hill! Today, the Court’s nine Justices are hearing two “transgender” cases originating in Idaho and West Virginia about men in women’s sports. Some conservative Christian students we know of have been camping out outside the Court for a week to get a prime spot inside for the oral arguments. Now that’s dedication!

These Title IX cases are drawing significant media attention, and we have been praying — especially convening last night before the oral arguments — that the Court would protect women who have been had to compete with males who claim to be “transgender.” Women athletes have missed out on wins and awards they would normally have received and have been unnecessarily endangered or hurt as a result.
We are thankful to have had a place in the courtroom today. Please join Faith & Liberty in praying for a good outcome from the Court.
Would you show your support as we start 2026 for the many ways Faith & Liberty supports religious freedom, life, and the family on Capitol Hill? We appreciate your faithful prayers and financial gifts that help Faith & Liberty thrive as we serve as your missionaries in our nation's capital.
We are blessed to be on Capitol Hill where we can be on hand and often in Court to pray for cases like this and engage on the issues that relate to faith, family, and freedom — the foundation of our nation in its 250th year.

MINISTRY RECAP
- Monday evening, we spent time in prayer for the Supreme Court cases being heard today regarding men in women’s sports. The Court will decide in West Virginia v. BPJ and Little v. Hecox whether states can ban biological men from women’s Title IX sports. Peggy Nienaber attended the arguments. Lindsey Cruz was in prayer with other ministry groups outside the Court.
- Patty Bills was part of a Liberty Briefing Zoom call to share and gather information on the updates for America 250.
- We host an America 250 intercessory prayer time every Saturday at our Ministry Center. If you are interested in joining us to pray for our nation, please contact Patty Bills at 202-737-1776.
- We had a visit from Aglow International Men’s Team, who came to our Ministry Center to pray over the ministry of Faith & Liberty. They take the time to listen and discuss all that is happening with the programs and events and around town. Their visit and prayers are always appreciated.
