Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital

Standing for Life on Capitol Hill

Dec 20, 2025

“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the LORD, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself” (Isaiah 44:24).

The God who created the heavens and the Earth is also the One who forms each of us in our mother’s womb. That puts life in perspective, doesn’t it? God creates ex nihilo, out of nothing, on a massive scale, then He also carefully knits each tiny infant within the closeness of a mother’s womb. A baby is not merely a blob of tissue or a nondescript clump of cells.

At Faith & Liberty, we believe the Scriptures when our Heavenly Father tells us who He is and how He forms us. This is what drives our team to pray and protect life at every opportunity afforded to us on Capitol Hill.

January is Sanctity of Human Life Month, one of our favorite and busiest months of the year! This past year, we hosted a LIFE Reception at our Ministry Center for those who marched from the rally for March for Life. This afforded us time with our Christian brothers and sisters to fellowship, reflect, and discuss life events in our own states.

Faith & Liberty also hosted Prayers & Remembrance — Victims of Roe as we remembered the preborn with prayer and laid 3,000 carnations in front of the Supreme Court to memorialize babies lost to abortion in our nation.

Later in the year, Faith & Liberty was present at a Pro-Life Meeting on Capitol Hill to focus on the upcoming pro-life agenda in Congress. We also stood firm in support of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (Born Alive Act).

We also prayed before, during, and after U.S. Supreme Court abortion cases, sometimes amid radical protests and inside the High Court.

These were among the many ways in which Faith & Liberty support the pro-life cause in our nation’s capital.

Thank you for standing with Faith & Liberty this year! Together, we will continue to challenge the leaders of our beloved nation to walk according to the ways of the Lord, resulting in God’s blessing upon our nation. And in 2026 — which will be filled with America 250 festivities — we will continue to stand for life and exalt God our Creator!
