Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital
Dec 11, 2025
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
The year 2025 brought significant challenges to our nation’s capital, but it also brought a spiritual harvest through the ministry of Faith & Liberty — because of your partnership.
One testimony that comes to mind is that we saw two atheists come to Christ in the same Bible study! This is one of our many Bible studies answering the spiritual hunger so evident in our nation’s capital.
We experienced an abundance of blessings because of your support, whether that be because you prayed, you gave, you volunteered, you led a Bible study, or you encouraged us. You come alongside the Faith & Liberty team in so many ways, and it means so much! Your support enables us to not become weary, but to continually take up the cross of Christ in our lives and in our ministry.
Reflecting on 2025
We love reflecting on the year past to see all that God has done at Faith & Liberty! The fact is, we can’t even share all of the results of our ministry because when you work with people in government, they either can’t or won’t share their lives publicly — which is understandable! But we are grateful for members of Congress and other leaders in Washington who are open enough about their faith to allow us to pray with and minister to them amid the heavy demands of their service to the American people.
Here are some of the events and activities that have kept the Faith & Liberty team occupied this past year:
Hosting a LIFE Reception and Prayers & Remembrance — Victims of Roe. We hold this special service each year in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. Our team lays over 3,000 flowers in memory of babies aborted each day.
Participating in presidential inauguration activities, including co-hosting the sold-out Presidential Inauguration Christian Gala and distributing Inauguration Issue Scripture booklets.
Connecting with the White House Faith Office and meeting for one-on-one ministry with members of Congress and their staff.
Sharing the work of Faith & Liberty with guests at our Ministry Center, including students and ministry prayer partners.
Digging into God's Word during our Bible studies and seeing individuals come to Christ!
Hosting a table during the Congressional Ministry Fair, giving Faith & Liberty the opportunity to share what we do on Capitol Hill.
Participating in the US Capitol Bible Reading Marathon on the West lawn of the Capitol, where the Bible is read continuously for 90 hours.
Holding a public Good Friday service, as we have for more than 20 years, on the U.S. Capitol lawn.
Engaging in special prayer opportunities like Rooftop Prayer, the National Day of Prayer, and dedicated days of prayer at our annual prayer retreat.
Praising the Lord with a house full of young adults during our pop-up worship nights.
Taking an active role in planning and helping lead the She Leads America Summit where we help celebrate the women God is using in America and in the U.K.
Participating in and praying at America250 events ahead of next year’s special anniversary.
Faith & Liberty was able to accomplish all this and so much more, thanks to the support of donors like you. From everyone at the ministry, thank you for your heart to bring faith, fellowship, and the good news of Christ to the capital. Hearts are truly being changed, and our nation is being shaped thanks to these efforts.
Anticipating 2026
Even as we have reflected on 2025, we look forward to what God will do through our ministry with your partnership in the new year. Will you commit to help us continue our unique and vital ministry in Washington, D.C.? Next year will certainly hold special opportunities to celebrate both America’s founding and our faith with the 250th anniversary of our country!
When you give to Faith & Liberty, you help fund our core ministry efforts, which include:
Bible studies that help participants grow in God’s Word.
Bible reading marathons that bring the public reading of the Scriptures to our nation’s capital.
Special events that allow us to connect and fellowship, including sports, community activities, and barbecues at our Ministry Center!
Our Live Nativity gospel presentation that brings the Good News of our Savior's birth to Capitol Hill through a live presentation on Capitol Hill at Christmastime.
And so much more!
Thank you for standing with Faith & Liberty this year! Together, we will continue to challenge the leaders of our beloved nation to walk according to the ways of the Lord, resulting in God’s blessing upon our nation. And in the coming year, we will continue to bear witness to our Savior and help many who work on Capitol Hill to grow in their faith in Christ!
