While the She Leads America Summit was happening (Oct. 8-11) in Washington, D.C., Faith & Liberty worked with several of the men who accompanied their wives to our nation's capital. We met with these Mordecai Men at our Ministry Center across the street from the United States Supreme Court. Many of these men held civic and church leadership positions. Most came from across the country, but some came all the way from the U.K.!

During our time together, we were honored to have Congressman Russ Fulcher (ID-1) share his heart regarding the spiritual and cultural crisis facing America as well as the revival taking place on college campuses across America. Rep. Fulcher's powerful message was well received. In addition to Congressman Fulcher, our own senior pastor, Rev. Greg Cox, shared with those gathered about the ministry of Faith & Liberty and the vibrant impact our work is having in the hearts and minds of our nation's leaders. The men were blessed to hear of what God is doing on Capitol Hill. Jonathan Alexandre, vice president of governmental affairs for Liberty Counsel, also related the efforts of Liberty Counsel Action in advancing public policy in support of the sanctity of life, the sanctity of the family, and the fundamental right to religious liberty.

After the presentations, there was question-and-answer time. Several of the men in attendance were from the United Kingdom and asked probing and insightful questions about the impact of the church on society as well as the dangers of the erosion of religious freedom in both the U.K. and the U.S. That discussion went on much of the afternoon and ended with a wonderful time of prayer. It was a powerful time as these men stood determined to publicly declare their faith and help restore biblical values to the public square.

It was exciting to see the prophetic ministry of Faith & Liberty expanding beyond Washington, D.C., and that it would now have an impact on the U.K. Praise God!
