Just days ago, the U.S. Supreme Court ended this session with several rulings on critical cases. One of those cases caught our attention early on, Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic. The Court ruled that the State of South Carolina may exclude Planned Parenthood’s abortion facilities from its Medicaid program.

We are grateful for this decision in favor of life and for a state that chose to stand up to the behemoth that is slaughtering the young — America’s future generations — and destroying families. Now we pray that more states will follow the lead of South Carolina and eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood as well as other abortion providers.

Faith & Liberty was in front of the Supreme Court leading in prayer for this case and others. We are thankful that God has placed Faith & Liberty on Capitol Hill where we can be at the ready to respond when prayer is deeply needed and where we can take a stand for life, religious liberty, and the family.

• Faith & Liberty held prayer in front of the U.S. Supreme Court as the end-of-session opinions were released in late June.
• Faith & Liberty’s Lindsey Cruz participated in a Hill Ministries luncheon with Kelly Johnston as speaker. Johnston, the 28th secretary of the Senate who served from 1995-97, shared about the Stubblefield Institute for Civil Political Communications, where he is the advisory board co-chair. He spoke about how his faith has guided him throughout his life and career.
  

• Congressional interns continue to fill our Ministry Center for lectures, the Summer Bible Study Series, and Worship Nights. Some abortion survivors attended our Bible study on Monday.
  

• Peggy will be interviewed by Alveda King, minister, pro-life activist, and a senior adviser to President Trump’s Faith Office, on The Vision TV show on July 11 about the work of Faith & Liberty. Our chairman, Mat Staver, recently interviewed Dr. King on the Freedom Alive television program, which you can watch here.
  
  

• Next week, friends will visit from Aglow International to pray over our ministry, as — we are thankful — they regularly do.
• Our team is helping plan the She Leads America Summit in October.
