Across the country, we’ve seen a beautiful move of God with revival on college campuses, baptisms at beaches, and powerful times of worship in our state capitals. This past week, we saw this movement continue at our Ministry Center on Capitol Hill. Congressional interns held a “Pop-Up” Worship Night, and our Ministry Center was filled with music, praise and worship, along with a breakout session for prayer.

These young adults are leading older generations. They have their eyes set on the Lord God and boldly worship Him. May we all have this kind of bold faith as we exalt Jesus Christ as the name above all names!

Currently we are on a three-day Faith & Liberty Prayer Retreat, our annual private prayer retreat. We are bringing your prayer needs and concerns to the Lord today, and we’ll also be remembering our staff members and our outreach and ministry events during this retreat.

Like the young people who gave us such a beautiful example of praise this past week, we are also remembering our God in worship. There is no one else like Him! We praise His holy name!

• Faith & Liberty hosted the National Pro-Life Religious Council members at the Ministry Center as they planned for upcoming events.

• Along with prayer opportunities in our Bible studies, as mentioned above, Peggy Nienaber participated in a congressional Intern “Pop-Up” Worship Night with young adults at our Ministry Center, which was a delight!

• Peggy joined national prayer leaders to pray for the election and the candidates.

• Rev. Greg Cox, Faith & Liberty’s senior pastor, addressed the Igniting the Remnant Pastors Training Conference in Frisco, Texas.

• Peggy attended a pro-life strategy meeting with pro-life leaders at the Museum of the Bible. Mat Staver, chairman of Faith & Liberty, spoke to the group virtually to help them understand what churches and nonprofits can legally do this election season to voice their opinions on issues and candidates.

• Faith & Liberty will co-host a screening of Unthinkable, an Abby Johnson film exposing the dirtiest secrets of the abortion industry. The screening will be in the U.S. Capitol on September 25.

• Patty & Peggy have been working with She Leads America Leaders to plan the Women’s Congressional Breakfast in September.

• Plans for the upcoming Women’s Congressional Prayer Breakfast are confirmed, and members have been invited. This will be a time to acknowledge and pray for these members of Congress.

• Planning has begun for the Officer Recognition Award ceremony to be held in October where Faith & Liberty will recognize those who serve in law enforcement on Capitol Hill.

• In September, Faith & Liberty will host the #Let Them Choose conference at the Ministry Center. The Alliance for Israel Advocacy has asked members of Congress to address attendees about a plan for Gaza.
