Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital
May 13, 2024
Law enforcement officers protect and serve their communities and are often called upon even when off duty. Their job is truly a calling, not just a profession. We are so thankful for their willingness to lay it all on the line for our safety and security.
This week, during “Police Week,” we will especially remember in prayer those who protect and serve. We remember the fallen and pray for those at risk every day. We pray for the safety of these dedicated officers, for us here on Capitol Hill and in communities across America.
Please see our prayer points below for specific matters to pray about. We are so glad you stand with Faith & Liberty in prayer for our nation and our leaders. Thank you, too, for supporting us as God leads you with your generous donations. You’re the reason we can be readily available to serve on Capitol Hill!

You truly are an important part of our ministry, and we thank you!
Last Monday Peggy Nienaber attended a briefing hosted by Rep. Mary Miller and the Congressional Family Caucus in the Rayburn House Office Building. Changes in Title IX and protecting women from violence were addressed.
Peggy also sat in on the Committee for Education & the Workforce as they discussed the topic “Calling for Accountability: Stopping Antisemitic College Chaos.” She had a chance to pray with the members of Congress afterward, as protests had broken out in the room during the committee session.
On a lighter note, our Ministry Center was a good place for interns to gather on Friday for game night. We’ll be providing this outlet for fun and fellowship once a month.
In our photos this week, we reflect on some recent prayer events!
