Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital

A 15-month-old child barely totters down the street surrounded by colors and festivities, yet when asked "How old is she?", the mother corrected the woman asking, "They are 15 months old." Before this child can even talk, he or she (it was never clear) is being pushed to the forefront of this cultural battle as a ploy for attention at a pride parade ... and it will confuse this poor child to no end.
This innocent child is being used as a political prop. This is heartbreaking!
Those who subscribe to this agenda are willing to sacrifice anything or anyone — even their own children — to push forward with their goals.
And your children too!
The agenda is clear in the “Equality Act.” There is no safe place for children under this dangerous bill.
Under HR 15, churches, schools, daycare centers, abuse centers for women, and ministries for troubled teens will be threatened with the radical LGBT & Q agenda.
Last week HR 15 gained another vote when the Democrat from New York was sworn in to replace the seat vacated by Rep. Santos. With 213 solid Democrat votes, this bill only needs five more votes to bypass House Speaker Mike Johnson and pass on to the U.S. Senate!
We can — and must — stop this bill. Rush your urgent faxes to Congress to stop the “Equality Act.” — Your Faith & Liberty team
LGBTQ activists have clearly declared their plans to force everyone to celebrate destructive behaviors and crush your freedom to dissent. If passed, you will not be able run and hide from the so-called “Equality Act.” Locking the doors to your home won’t protect you. If you have a website or profile online, sell or shop online, or just send out emails, this bill still applies to YOU, even inside your own home!
If this bill passes, schoolteachers will be forced to lie by referring to students with false pronouns. Churches, schools — indeed any place — will be unable to keep boys or men out of girls’ or women’s locker rooms, dormitories, or showers or off their sports teams. On overnight trips, with no notice, young girls could be forced to room with biological boys. Parents are not even being informed when this happens!
Even homeschooling will not protect young children against this bill’s mandates because curriculum providers will be threatened and made to hire people contrary to their mission.
In a desperate attempt to comply, companies will push “sensitivity training” on anyone who wants to keep their job. Forced attendance and compliance will become mandatory if you want to put food on your table. Any objectors will be punished.
If this bill passes, everyone will face legal attack like never before. Many will be without a proper defense. The nonprofit status of organizations and accreditation of Christian schools will be threatened. Websites — and even these emails — will be affected by the “Equality Act.”
WE MUST STOP THIS BILL!
Churches have always enjoyed the highest level of freedom in America.
Until now, IF THE “EQUALITY ACT” PASSES.
The “Equality Act” will strip churches of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA)! There can be zero federal RFRA defense against abortion or LGBT and Q behaviors. Faith-based hospitals will be forced to abort children, mutilate the bodies of healthy men and women who are gender confused, and prescribe drugs to do the same.
Shockingly, this bill allows lawsuits even if the person is not actually practicing LGBTQ behaviors. They can file a discrimination charge against your “belief” or “perceptions.” Even if they are not LGBTQ, anyone can allege they were discriminated against because you thought they associated in the past with someone who is LGBTQ.
Section 2(12) says people can sue based on “perceptions or beliefs.” It applies to “actual or perceived” — in other words, it can apply to real and imaginary situations. And it is not limited to a “physical facility or place.”
So, people who DO NOT identify as LGBTQ can still use this bill to drag churches, organizations, or you through endless litigation. The process itself is the punishment.
This bill explicitly states RFRA shall not provide a claim or a defense. No religious freedom here!
This bill strips places of worship — and anyone — of religious freedom. Remember Hobby Lobby and Little Sisters of the Poor that objected to abortion-inducing drugs and devices? They won under RFRA. They will not win under the “Equality Act.”
During earlier debate on the “Equality Act,” House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) stated, “ ... God’s will, is no concern of this Congress.” What a shameful and shocking statement!
This bill will isolate people of faith from their communities and remove opportunities to share their beliefs. It will provide massive punishments for people who have the courage to stand up. Imagine getting served papers for the lawsuit of “United States of America v. [Your Name, Your Church, or School].”
This bill turns people of faith into violators of the law.
WE CAN STOP THE “EQUALITY ACT” RIGHT NOW IN THE HOUSE. But we must act now.
We have fought hard to share the dangers of this bill with members of Congress who then decided to vote against it. We are working tirelessly. But we need you to sign the petition, fax, call, and get the word out to make sure this bill does not pass!
