Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital

When Alaska Airlines asked employees to comment on its endorsement of the "Equality Act," two employees who responded were fired. One merely asked if the company could regulate "morality." The other asked if the airline supported "endangering the Church, encouraging suppression of religious freedom, obliterating women rights and parental rights."
This case is ongoing.
HR 15 applies to every church, school, health care provider, pastor, teacher, landlord, business, employee, parent — the list is endless. It applies to anyone providing a “good, service or program.” Yes, it even could apply to an occasional sale online and to everyone who has a website. There will be no escaping it — this bill applies to YOU.
This bill will force everyone to comply with its radical demands. It will force you to celebrate and promote LGBT and Q — and abortion-on-demand all nine months. Your silence is not allowed, you must celebrate these sins, or face the full weight of the U.S. government punishing you.
We’ll share one legislator’s shocking comment below. Radicals are desperate for the control this bill will give them, but we can block this bill in the Senate. We can — and must — stop this bill. Rush your urgent fax to the Senate to stop the “Equality Act.” — Your Faith & Liberty team
Two flight attendants were fired for speaking out against the Equality Act on an internal employee board. Even the Union fought to get them disciplined, fired, and even worse. A union rep wrote, “Can we PLEASE get someone to shut down comments, or put Marli and Lacey in a burlap bag and drop them in a well?" All of this happened while the Equality Act is just a bill.
Imagine the level of persecution if it becomes law.
You cannot run or hide from the so-called “Equality Act.” You cannot go underground to get away from it. Locking your doors (or becoming a hermit in your home) doesn't protect you. If you have a website or profile online, sell or shop online, or just send out emails, this bill still applies to YOU, even inside your castle!
Teachers will not be able to refer to students by their biological pronouns. Churches and schools (indeed — any place) will be unable to keep boys or men out of girls’ or women’s locker rooms, dormitories, or showers, or off their sports teams. On overnight trips, with no notice, young girls could be forced to room with young biological boys, and no one will be able to stop it.
Even homeschooling will not protect young children against this bill’s mandates because all the curriculum providers will have to follow its bidding.
“Sensitivity training” (forced compliance) will become commonplace. Objectors will be punished.
Churches have always enjoyed the highest level of freedom in America.
Until now.
The “Equality Act” will strip churches of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA)! There can be zero “religious freedom” defenses against abortion or LGBT and Q behaviors. Faith-based hospitals will be forced to abort children, mutilate the bodies of healthy men and women who are gender confused, and prescribe drugs to do the same.
Shockingly, this bill allows lawsuits even if the person is not actually practicing LGBTQ behaviors. They can file a discrimination charge against your “belief” or “perceptions.” Even if they are not LGBTQ, anyone can allege they were discriminated against because you thought they associated in the past with someone who is LGBTQ. Section 2(12) says people can sue based on "perceptions or beliefs.”
It applies to “actual or perceived” — in other words, it can apply to real and imaginary situations. And it is not limited to a “physical facility or place.”
People who DO NOT identify as LGBTQ can still use this bill to drag churches, organizations, or you through endless litigation. The process itself is the punishment. And that is exactly what these flight attendants are now experiencing!
This bill explicitly states the Religious Freedom Restoration Act shall not provide a claim or a defense. No religious freedom here!
This bill strips places of worship — and anyone — of religious freedom. Remember Hobby Lobby and Little Sisters of the Poor who objected to abortion-inducing drugs and devices? They won under RFRA. They will not win under the “Equality Act.”
During debate on the “Equality Act,” then-House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) stated, “ ... God’s will, is no concern of this Congress.” What a shameful and shocking statement! How far our nation has fallen.
This bill will isolate people of faith from their communities and remove opportunities to share their beliefs. It will provide massive punishments for people who have the courage to stand up. Imagine getting served summons for “United States of America v. [Your Name, Church, School, or Group].”
We can block this bill, but the vote will be close.
