Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital

The Faith & Liberty Monday Report

Mar 20, 2023

Years ago, a powerful little booklet titled Tyranny of the Urgent was published. One of the characters in its narrative says, “Your greatest danger is letting the urgent things crowd out the important.” To which we say, “Truth!” We must focus on what is important, not just what is urgent, in our ministry and in our nation.

We know God has positioned Faith & Liberty on Capitol Hill, and we also know we are in the crosshairs of the enemy of our souls. The Lord is using our ministry on Capitol Hill. He is saving many souls, and they are being baptized and discipled. Satan surely hates how fruitful our ministry is.

So, we must be ever vigilant as he is on the prowl like a roaring lion preparing to attack (I Peter 5:8). He can creep up on us when we least expect it.

This is but one of the reasons why we ask you to support Faith & Liberty with the requests we list each week on the Monday Report (see below). We also appreciate anyone who prays the Scriptures over us, our families, and this ministry.

We don’t need to tell you we are living in difficult times. We must pray and act for the future of America and the glory of God.

Thank you so very much for interceding for Faith & Liberty and financially supporting our vital ministry. We appreciate you!

PRAYER

Praise God for the Faith & Liberty ministry! We are thankful for the spiritual impact we are having in the lives of interns, staffers, and government leaders — all for the glory of God!

Pray that God would give us at Faith & Liberty wisdom and guidance, and that our steps would be ordered by the Lord.

Pray for godly leaders in various branches of government to see God for the wisdom they need to make decisions and lead well in their sphere of influence.

Pray for the Christians on Capitol Hill to be bold in their words and actions and be willing to take a stand for faith, family, and freedom.

Pray for Faith & Liberty, that the Holy Spirit would open up spiritual conversations with members of Congress through Bible studies, the Bible Reading Marathon and one-on-one opportunities.

Pray that those who come to our Bible studies would do so with open hearts and minds, that many interns, staffers, and others would come to Christ and follow Him in their personal and professional lives.
