Jesus left us with a mandate in these two Great Commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Loving our neighbor means, in part, we stand for God’s design of the family—from the conception of an infant in the womb to the cultivation of a child’s mind in education to care for the natural created order. But so much of the legislation we see in Congress these days—from the “Ensuring Access to Abortion Act” to the misnamed “Respect for Marriage Act” to the “Transgender Bill of Rights”—does not protect children or the family.

Sadly, in our beloved country, we see babies discarded like trash because a woman thinks her right to choose comes after conception. We see acceptance of the abomination of "gay marriage” and the grooming of children in government schools to believe they were born that way. We see the health care industry making millions off of gender-confused children.

Jesus also left a stern warning for those who would lead children into sin. Mark 9:42 reads, “But whoever causes the downfall of one of these little ones who believe in Me—it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.”

At Faith & Liberty, we stand against the radical agenda that promotes abortion at all costs, same-sex marriage and the proliferation of a multi-gendered humanity. THE MONDAY RECAP

  • Saturday’s Men’s Prayer Breakfast drew around 40 men for fellowship and prayer for each other and for the nation. There is a time to share about God’s blessings along with open time for prayer needs.



  • Interns and congressional staffers participated in Saturday’s 24-hour prayer event at our Ministry Center. About 50 staffers came throughout the night to pray for our nation, for each other and for the requests that were sent in for prayer. This event gives us time to give back and pray for you.

  • Peggy Nienaber and Jonathan Alexandre will be attending a forum with Mike Pence, the 48th vice president, this week. The basic rights our Founding Fathers fought for are under attack today. This forum will discuss the need for strong conservative policies and why we can't give up the fight for America's future.
  • Peggy will be participating in the Let Us Worship events with Sean Feucht this week. Sean’s ministry team will again gather thousands in our nation’s capital to engage in prayer, praise and worship in front of the U.S. Supreme Court, the White House and on the National Mall. Sean’s team is changing the world for Jesus, and bringing prayer and praise to those who work on Capitol Hill.

Legislation Alert: Congress is in session, and many lawmakers are pushing to pass the misnamed “Respect for Marriage Act” (HR 8404). The House already passed the bill, and the Senate is rushing to have a full vote anytime now. This bill will not only push same-sex marriage by law into every state, but it also overrides states’ rights and brings the full weight of the federal attorney general’s office to file suits. As it is written, if just one state allowed incestuous or child bride marriages, this bill would force all 49 states to recognize and respect that “marriage.”

Urge the Senate to block HR 8404 by sending a fax and adding your name to our petition. Thanks!


PRAYER CONCERNS

Pray that Faith & Liberty will continue to be a light for Christ in the nation’s capital with our reach extending across America. Pray also for the Faith & Liberty team and their families, for good health and stamina to stand against any spiritual attack.

Join us in prayer and praise as we meet on Capitol Hill with worship leader Sean Feucht this week.

Pray for members of Congress and others on Capitol Hill who are taking on the radical, anti-God agenda. Some feel defeated and weary, and they need our support in prayer.

We also want to remember those still suffering from the flooding and destruction brought by Hurricane Ian. We encourage you to give to the Liberty Relief International effort to meet the needs of the people of Florida whose lives were turned upside down by this storm.
