The day we’ve all been praying for is finally here! The Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization opinion was released Friday, June 24, 2022, and with it, Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, the infamous Supreme Court abortion opinions, have been overturned! Praise God!
Writing for the majority, Justice Samuel Alito wrote, “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled. It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
This is a victory for the Constitution, a victory for the American people and especially a victory for LIFE!
Over the last 50 years, more than 63 million unborn lives have been killed by abortion in America. Abortion has been a blight on our nation, but now we are a giant step closer to making the womb a safe place again.
This morning, Vice President Peggy Nienaber joined Sean Feucht and other believers in front of the Supreme Court building—to worship and thank God for this ruling and the other recent rulings protecting religious freedom and free speech.
There, of course, has been an outcry over the released opinion, and the demonic protests start up after dark each night, but this does not deter our joy. For greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (see 1 John 4:4b).
Praise God!

MONDAY RECAP
- This morning, Faith & Liberty’s team gathered with others in front of the U.S. Supreme Court for prayer and worship. - Bible studies have continued throughout the week. Despite the many street closures around Capitol Hill, staffers have made their way to the Ministry Center and remain faithful in gathering to study God’s Word.
- Peggy was interviewed by Fr. Frank Pavone to talk about the demonic movement they have been witnessing outside the Supreme Court since the leaked Dobbs opinion.
- Peggy participated in the final Steering Committee Meeting before the launch of the International Religious Freedom Summit, which starts tomorrow.
- Peggy met with House Chaplain Margaret Kibben’s staff to assist with planning the upcoming Women on the Hill Prayer Breakfast for female members of Congress.
- Peggy met and prayed with pastors from Kings Church DC to initiate more programs and to discuss ways to continue ministering to staffers, interns and others who work on Capitol Hill.
- The Faith & Liberty team held a planning meeting for the 2023 programs and events to pray and discuss what God wants us to do at the Ministry Center and on Capitol Hill. Our plans are to bring the Ministry Center to the next level, and through prayer, planning and reliance on Him, we will be faithful to do what God is calling us to do!

PRAYER CONCERNS
Abortion: As we rejoice over the overturning of Roe, Roe still must be overturned in the hearts and minds of many Americans. There is still a need for Christians to step up and be the hands and feet of Christ—to minister to women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. Pray for pregnancy resource centers bringing help and hope in communities across the nation and pray for hearts to be changed to value life.
Protection: Thank the Lord, with us, for His continued protection ahead of the release of the Dobbs decision and since its release on Friday. Major protests have continued at night in front of the Supreme Court. The area in front of the Court has fencing three layers deep, and traffic is limited. We know our ministry is a target as we stand for life and the gospel, but we are taking security seriously and are not taking unnecessary risks. We thank you for praying for the safety of our staff and protection of our property.
Religious Freedom: Pray that God would open doors for conversation with key leaders at this week’s International Religious Freedom Summit, that the event will help the persecuted and glorify God. Pray that every detail would be taken care of and for the preparation of the speakers—Senior Counsel for Governmental Affairs Jonathan Alexandre, Liberty Counsel; Camp Constitution co-founder Hal Shurtleff; and Faith & Liberty staff—for Liberty Counsel’s breakout session.
Our efforts to bring the Word of God to bear on the hearts and minds of our public policy makers are only possible because wonderful friends like you stand with us both in prayer and in your generous financial support! Thank you!
Make a difference and partner with us.
