Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital

The Faith & Liberty Monday Report

Mar 7, 2022

Here on Capitol Hill, we are called to make a difference for the kingdom of God as He leads and directs us each day. This is a very active time in our nation’s capital, and we ask for your prayers and partnership at this critical juncture in American history.

We await the Supreme Court’s decision on the Christian flag/free speech case argued in January by our chairman, Mat Staver, in his capacity with Liberty Counsel.

The Court will also issue its decision on the Dobbs abortion case, and we are joining with other concerned groups to intercede for a favorable ruling with the potential overturning of Roe v. Wade. We are holding weekly prayer meetings at our Ministry Center until the opinion is released.

Not only is the Court making these and other significant decisions that impact life and liberty, but also the Senate will soon decide whether the current appointee will take the bench as one of the Court’s nine Justices.

Each day I come to the Ministry Center I look across the street and see the imposing presence of the highest court in the land. What a reminder to pray for the judicial branch of the federal government, its Justices and their impact on America’s future!

For the glory of God,

Peggy Nienaber, Vice President

PRAYER CONCERNS

Pray for Peggy and other Steering Committee members who are planning for the International Religious Freedom Summit 2022. Pray for wisdom and guidance as the committee plans for this major event that impacts the lives of believers around the world and addresses the persecution of people of faith.

We're looking for victory in our Supreme Court free speech case on behalf of Hal Shurtleff and Camp Constitution concerning the Christian flag. Our chairman, Mat Staver, argued the case against the City of Boston on January 18. Please stand with us in prayer until the Court announces its decision. Pray also for God’s will to be done regarding the appointment of a new Supreme Court Justice.

Our efforts to bring the Word of God to bear on the hearts and minds of our public policy makers are only possible because wonderful friends like you stand with us both in prayer and in your generous financial support! Thank you!

Make a difference and partner with us.
