Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital

The Faith & Liberty Monday Report: You're Invited!

Jan 3, 2022

Let freedom fly!

I know those words resonate in your heart as they do in ours. Because freedom in this nation is our heart’s desire, I invite you to join us for two important events in front of the Supreme Court of the United States.

The U.S. Supreme Court granted Liberty Counsel’s cert petition and will hear our case regarding the censorship of the Christian flag in Boston. The High Court will hear the oral argument January 18 at 10 a.m. with a decision expected by June.

We are ever aware of the importance of this case and are asking God for favor in the Court’s ruling. The night before the case is heard, we will host a prayer gathering and invite you to come. We will pray for the Supreme Court Justices, the Liberty Counsel lawyers and Faith & Liberty’s team. Please join us for a Candlelight Prayer Vigil with music and prayer at 7 p.m. in front of the Court.

On the day of the case, join us at 9 a.m. for a Press Conference & Rally prior to the oral argument in the Shurtleff v. City of Boston case. Learn more about the case at lc.org/flag.

We are asking for prayer for our legal team and Mat Staver, our chairman, as he prepares to present the oral argument at the Supreme Court. We expect this case to set national precedent!

Blessings,

The Faith & Liberty team

PRAYER CONCERNS

Pray for our chairman, Mat Staver, as he prepares to present oral argument at the Supreme Court on January 18 in Shurtleff v. City of Boston.

Pray as we stand together for life and remember the thousands of preborn lives lost in America, especially since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.

Pray for the Capitol Hill staffers to have the availability to attend one of the many new Bible study opportunities we are offering. Pray for spiritual growth for those who already believe and for salvation for those who don’t yet believe!

Our efforts to bring the Word of God to bear on the hearts and minds of our public policy makers are only possible because wonderful friends like you stand with us both in prayer and in your generous financial support! Thank you!
