Tucked inside nearly 2,500 pages of Democrats’ latest budget bill, misnamed “Build Back Better” (BBB), they included provisions that expand socialized medicine. This bill inserts policies of socialized medicine that align with Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and even the United Kingdom—all countries that have government-run health care systems.

If the government is paying for services, like prescription drugs, these costs are set. But if you purchase prescription drugs, the costs will skyrocket due to the BBB’s repeal of the Trump-era Rebate Rule that demanded lower costs for consumers at the point of sale.

Already our medical system is on a shaky foundation with the shot mandates, staff fleeing the industry and government-run Medicare and Medicaid—but this bill will do even more devastating harm!

How does BBB impact religious freedom? For one, beyond these new socialist measures, this bill pushes abortion. The BBB does not have the Hyde Amendment that bans federal funds for abortions. This omission means millions of our tax dollars will pay for elective abortions. But it gets much worse.

One of the biggest problems for the abortion industry is a lack of replacements for abortionists who are leaving. Because no one wants to go into this field and abortionists are aging out, many abortion clinics are shutting down or only offering abortion one or a few days per week.

However, this bill provides education grants for “a career pathway in the field of pregnancy.” Many Democrats view abortion as a “pregnancy service.”

Any organization requesting this grant will receive a minimum of 6.3 million dollars for this training project.

In the same section, this bill also offers grants “to provide education and training for eligible individuals with arrest or conviction records to enter and follow a career pathway in the health professions through occupations that pay well and are expected to experience a labor shortage or be in high demand.” This bill targets criminals and trains them for a description that fits the abortion industry.

In addition, these same people can be trained to replace medical professionals who resigned from this field because of mandates to get the COVID injections. And now convicted criminals would have free rein to be with patients of all ages, even when the patients are under anesthesia!

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) says he is pro-life, so if he votes against this bill, it is dead. We have an opportunity to kill this bill. We believe we can hold all the Republicans and get at least one Democratic senator to say NO! Send your urgent fax today.

Abortion isn’t the only concerning aspect this bill will control! It will do all of the following:

• Give government access to every financial account (bank accounts and credit cards) that has 10,000 dollars in transactions over a year. It will also trigger the IRS to look at every 600-dollar transaction.
• Pay the IRS 78,935,000,000 dollars (almost 80 billion) to increase audits and other enforcement efforts.
• Fund an additional 150 million to IRS lawyers to drag people to court.
• Create a new, radicalized and militarized “corps” for climate change, fully funded by taxpayers for housing, food, salaries, travel, etc.
• Take more inheritance from children and limit them to receive 50% less from their parents’ property.
• Offer welfare without any work, or attempt to work, requirements.
• Offer state-issued identification—essentially amnesty and citizenship—to illegal immigrants.
• Pay child support to illegal immigrants, motivating more border crossings.
• Give unions nearly total control and subject owners and employers to penalties while exempting union bosses and officials.
• And so much more in its nearly 2,500 pages!

In addition, this bill will crush businesses that dare violate any COVID shot mandate. Any business (public or private) with even only one employee that “willfully or repeatedly” violates OSHA standards will be fined up to 700,000 dollars. And even one violation cannot have a fine of less than 50,000 dollars.

This means if a company had just two employees who refused the shots, it could be fined from 100,000 up to 1.4 million dollars. This bill is intended to control private businesses! That is a religious freedom killer!

Even if a violation is not intentional and deemed “not serious,” the penalty will jump 10x from 7,000 to 70,000 dollars per instance!

It is critically important to block this bill. Our senators need to hear from you now. Send your urgent fax to Congress to fight this today.
