Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital

The Faith & Liberty Monday Report

Nov 1, 2021

Today, Nov. 1, is the day many are gathering for prayer in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. About 30 groups of intercessors from across the nation are in attendance. This is the first of several of these gatherings around the issue of abortion as we anticipate the High Court’s critical decisions affecting the unborn in America.

We want the blessing of God on our nation, so we must speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves—children still in the womb. Please join us in prayer that the Court would rule favorably and soon overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that led to the slaughter of so many precious babies!

Blessings in Christ,

The Faith & Liberty Team

THE MONDAY RECAP & MORE
  • Peggy Nienaber joined the National Faith Leaders Call along with former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to pray and urge that religious exemptions be granted as soon as possible for every American risking their lives to defend our country and for those who are losing their jobs due to the mandates.

  • Peggy Nienaber participated in the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom Virtual Hearing with Sen. Roger Wicker and other congressional members. At the hearing, we discussed religious freedom violations and tools that can be used to curtail such violation.

  • Patty Bills continues to work on obtaining permits and recruiting volunteers for the upcoming LIVE Nativity in Washington, D.C.

  • Faith & Liberty intern Giancarlo Mandato participated in an event at Patrick Henry College where he was privileged to hear former Vice President Mike Pence lecture on instilling good values and education. Pence quoted a passage we also hold in high regard: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Prov. 22:6).

Our efforts to bring the Word of God to bear on the hearts and minds of our public policy makers are only possible because wonderful friends like you stand with us both in prayer and in your generous financial support! Thank you!
