Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital
Sep 20, 2021
Last Friday was “Constitution Day” in America. Granted, many Americans may not even know we have a Constitution Day! But we do, and we are grateful for the day our nation’s Founding Fathers signed the U.S. Constitution—Sept. 17, 1787.
Once known as “Citizenship Day,” Constitution Day celebrates one of the most significant documents that unites the people of the United States of America—or should. Today, if you tune into some media, you may hear the Constitution spoken of as a “living, breathing document,” with some wanting to discard it altogether!
Our chairman, Mat Staver, recently called us to honor and defend this wonderful document.
“We must continue to fight to defend the U.S. Constitution,” he said. “Some want to rewrite this priceless document and change America into a socialist government in which an elite ruling class holds power rather than the people. The Constitution established a limited government that requires the people to be self-governed for the system to work. It is essential to study the Constitution so we never forget the foundation of godly and enduring principles that gave birth to America.”
Do I hear an "Amen"?
Blessings in Christ,
Peggy Nienaber, Vice President
THE MONDAY RECAP

Our prophetic missionary work in Washington, D.C., continues during this critical time in history. CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT YOUR PRAYER REQUEST.
We must all stay tuned in to what's happening in our nation's capital. To stay informed on issues in Washington (e.g., "Freedom to Vote Act," "Equality Act") and play your part as a citizen and a Christian, look for Faith & Liberty's ACTION emails throughout the week.
PRAYER
God is working powerfully in the lives of many of the Capitol Hill staffers who regularly visit our Ministry Center. Thank Him for His work in their lives and pray that a spiritual awakening would come to our nation’s capital.
Ask God to bring believers who care about the unborn to the Praying for Life rally, to be held in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on Oct. 2. The High Court has agreed to hear the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization abortion case this fall, and we want to stand in solidarity for life!
Pray that the presence of the Lord would linger in Washington as when we prayed this past weekend before the Supreme Court and as Sean Feucht led God’s people to worship from the National Mall.
Our efforts to bring the Word of God to bear on the hearts and minds of our public policy makers are only possible because wonderful friends like you stand with us both in prayer and in your generous financial support! Thank you!
Make a difference and partner with us.
