Transforming lives with Good News in the Nation’s Capital

Yesterday, Democrats and their radical LGBTQ lobbyists in the U.S. Senate pushed the misnamed "Equality Act," and, as expected, they lied. When one witness lied under oath, saying churches would not be affected, Sen. Lindsey Graham forced the witness to admit the truth—churches are a target.
We need to make sure these U.S. senators hear the truth!
Shockingly, Thom Tillis (R-NC) said he is open to passing a bill similar to HR 5, stating, "I am open to finding a compromise on this issue." In addition, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) refused to say if she opposes this bill.
We can—and must—stop this bill. Rush your urgent fax to every senator to stop the "Equality Act." — Your Faith & Liberty team
Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin (D-IL) and other Democrats say the "Equality Act" will not harm women. That's disgusting. They know it will, and similar laws have already done so.
Democrat senators blocked a mother from testifying about her teenage daughter, Chelsea. Here is what they don't want you to hear—the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) changed its policies to allow male athletes who want to "identify" as female to compete as girls. Since this change, two biological males have won 15 Connecticut women's track championships, titles held by nine different girls in 2016. Chelsea lost the State Champion title to a male four times.
I can only imagine the frustration of this mother listening to these lies when Democrats blocked her from sharing the truth of how HR 5 will harm women.
We have a long list of sexual assaults perpetrated by men claiming to be women and demanding access to restrooms, locker rooms and showers.
This includes the harrowing story of an 8-year-old girl who was choked by a biological male until she passed out in the bathroom before her mom rushed in and rescued her.
But under the "Equality Act," this insanity would become a federal "right." If a mother, father, coach, church, school or business objected to boys or men entering these private spaces, they would face the terror of the U.S. Department of Justice and lawsuits from the offenders.
Men have no place in private rooms for women. It doesn't matter whether they are confused or faking to enter for nefarious reasons. And men who cannot make the men's team should stay out of women's sports.
LEAVE OUR GIRLS AND WOMEN ALONE!
The senators need to hear the truth about the devastating impact of this bill. People who want to protect girls and women will be considered lawbreakers under the "Equality Act."
Your faxes and petitions are making a difference. Fax the Senate to oppose this outrageous bill and protect our girls and women.
The president of the Human Rights Commission, the largest LGBTQ lobbying group in the country, falsely testified that HR 5 "does not alter or change RFRA" (the Religious Freedom Restoration Act). However, the text of HR 5 completely erases RFRA.
The HRC president also falsely said that HR 5 "does not create any new obligations for houses of worship." This is the SAME organization that sent Biden a list of 85 demands, including the revocation of churches and religious organizations who refuse to promote LGBTQ.
After repeated lies, Sen. Graham had had enough. He backed Alphonso David into a corner until David had to admit that—yes, the "Equality Act" applies to you, your church, your school, your ministry and your company. And, by the way, it also applies to anything online.
Mary Rice Hasson, a witness for the Republicans, correctly said: "It is not true that people of faith don't lose anything; we lose everything."
Another Republican senator pointed out that this bill would punish and bankrupt millions of Americans who believe that men are men and women are women, and there are absolutely no exemptions for people of faith or the organizations they run.
This is exactly what HR 5 would do: It gives special protections for ALL sexual perversion (including pedophilia) to be promoted in churches, schools and online—everywhere! And it will make abortion a federal right and supersede all state laws.
STOP THE "EQUALITY ACT" with your urgent fax now.
This bill "ties the hands of religious believers and says you are not welcome to live out your faith," Hasson stated.
Yesterday, Sen. Josh Hawley said, "This is a radical attack on religious freedom." He was joined by Sens. Ted Cruz and Tom Cotton in mounting a strong opposition against this bill. However, a number of other Republican senators only offered a weak, half-hearted defense against this bill. There are many senators who need to hear from you today. Send your urgent fax to the Senate to stop this bill.
