We are living in remarkable times. Today we stand at a critical juncture in American history where the faithful roots of this nation are being tested as never before, especially in the hallowed halls of government. What better way to bolster the faith of our public policy makers, as well as stir the hearts of all of Washington, than a Live Nativity -- celebrating the birth of Jesus and reminding our leaders that America is a nation founded upon faith in God.

This bold testimony of the Gospel is why Faith & Liberty will once again present the Live Nativity on Capitol Hill, complete with a camel, sheep, donkey, shepherds, Wise Men, and the Holy Family – with a live baby.

Our Live Nativity begins at 11 am, December 4th, with 30 people fully dressed in period costumes, followed by a train of live animals – a camel, donkey and sheep - who gather together to walk the sidewalks around the highest court in our land praying as they go.  Once we are in front of the Supreme Court steps, a team of pastors read the Nativity Story straight from the Holy Bible.

Imagine the baby Jesus, swaddled by his mother Mary, attended by Joseph, the angel and even real shepherds, telling the story of Jesus Christ…right on the plaza of the U.S. Supreme Court facing the U.S. Capitol Building!

It might seem like hosting a Live Nativity should be easy and inexpensive, but in Washington, DC, the process is time consuming and very expensive. Faith & Liberty must pay for permits, insurance and fees from not one, not two, but THREE federal agencies just to make this Living Gospel Tract happen every year.
