Urgent: Please Pray for Sandra Now!

Nov 13, 2019

Liberty Counsel Chief Litigation Counsel Harry Mihet, and Sandra Merritt

After six grueling weeks, Planned Parenthood's baseless revenge suit targeting pro-life hero Sandra Merritt comes to a momentous climax this week.

Liberty Counsel Chief Litigation Counsel Harry Mihet is making his closing argument to the jury today in a San Francisco federal courtroom. The 10-person jury (one was excused after an accident and one with the flu) starts deliberating after that.

That's why your missionary team at Faith & Liberty is asking you to pray for Harry . . . and especially for Sandra. She faces the very real possibility of a crushing jury verdict. And that verdict could come anytime--possibly even later this week.

Planned Parenthood is suing Sandra for millions. Her supposed "crime" was exposing the abortion giant's brutal, merciless and greedy commerce in baby body parts it cuts from the tiny, innocent, and helpless humans it kills.

Planned Parenthood is targeting Sandra, but the truth about its ghastly baby body parts business came out--sometimes unexpectedly—in this long and complex trial.

During the trial jurors learned that . . .

  • A Planned Parenthood affiliate indicated it was willing to "move forward" with a plan to sell livers from aborted children for "$750 per fetal liver." That exorbitant fee directly contradicts then-Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards. After the explosive undercover videos exposing the abortion chain came out in July 2015, Richards claimed in an interview that the abortion chain "makes zero profit on any fetal tissue donation."
  • A former board director of the Center for Medical Progress testified that fetal tissue procurement firm Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR) supplied baby scalps to researchers.  ABR has harvested tissue and organs from babies killed at Planned Parenthood facilities, the former board director told the court, “They were scalping the babies and taking their scalps and grafting them on to immune-suppressed mice." The purpose was to study the effectiveness of pharmaceuticals in treating baldness.
  • Sandra’s colleague, David Daleiden, told the court about the cruel abuse of living babies inside Planned Parenthood killing centers. He said Dr. Teresa Deisher, a Stanford Ph.D. "told me that that the most horrific aspect of fetal experimentation is that most . . . of the organ and tissue demand would require . . . fetuses delivered alive from the abortion, fetuses delivered intact and alive, to harvest the body parts with the freshness and the viability."

It's shocking that this gruesome assault on little babies has been taking place in America. And that the perpetrator, Planned Parenthood, is the one suing Sandra!

Sandra is a whistleblower whose incredible undercover footage showed Planned Parenthood executives haggling over the prices of baby body parts, picking through bloody arms and legs of aborted babies in a tray and discussing how to alter abortion methods to obtain better body parts for sale.

This courageous 66-year-old grandmother joined David Daleiden in a 30-month exposé that shook Planned Parenthood's bloody empire.

If Planned Parenthood wins, Sandra will be hit with a ruinous judgment.

That's why we are asking you to stand with her today. Will you join with us today in intercession for Sandra?

In addition to your prayers, will you take a moment to make the most generous investment you can to this unique missionary outreach to our nation’s leaders?

Not only will your prayerful gift help Faith & Liberty stand with Sandra, it will also help us advance our other efforts to bring the Word of God to bear on the hearts and minds of our public policy makers — including at the highest court in the land!

Thank you for standing with Sandra through your prayers! And thank you for standing with Faith & Liberty through your prayers and generous support!
