And, as your missionaries to our nation’s leaders, we work hard to preserve your right to practice your faith both in your church AND in your daily life. Just this week, Rev. Greg Cox, Lead Missionary for Faith & Liberty, traveled to New York City to join President Trump and other world leaders gathered at the United Nations in addressing the growing dangers being faced by Christians here in the United States and around the world.

The United Nations is promoting a radical LGBTQ agenda that will only increase threats against people of faith. For the UN, ‘hate speech’ includes as any speech that uses discriminatory language with reference to a person on the basis of who they are, including gender or other identity factors.

Two things jump off the page here: 1) The UN believes when a man decides to become a woman it’s because that’s ‘who they are;’ a rejection of Scripture and a denial of God’s order! (Gen. 1:27); and, 2) at the UN, hate speech is any ‘discriminatory language’ regarding a person’s gender or ‘identity.’ In other words, ANY language that targets a person on the basis of gender or sexual identity is HATE SPEECH.

By that definition the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is hate speech!

Think of the Apostle Paul’s words to the Romans: Their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones…men also abandoned natural relations with women and…committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. (Romans 1:26-27) HATE SPEECH!!

And Paul’s joy at the power of the Gospel to deliver: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men…will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you WERE. But you were...justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. (I Cor. 6:1-12). HATE SPEECH!!

Did you know that in Tampa, Florida, if a Christian counselor follows Paul’s words and suggests to a young boy or girl they can be set free from their gender confusion THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW?

Like you, we intend to stand against this aggressive LGBTQ agenda that threatens the freedom of every church, every Christian college or day care, every Christian counselor, and every believer in America!
