Our leadership team has joined with Rev. Franklin Graham and 250 other Christian leaders asking believers across America to make this Sunday, June 2, a special day of prayer for President Donald J. Trump.

This is not a partisan or political call to prayer. Rather, it is a response to the biblical mandate recorded in 1 Timothy 2:2 to pray for those in authority "that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."

While radical forces mount a vigorous attack against biblical morality, as evidenced by the enshrinement of abortion-on-demand in leftist states like New York, and the US House of Representatives passing the so-called "Equality Act" (which is nothing more than the LGBT agenda on steroids), it is abundantly evident the people of God need to cry out and ask God to intervene!

Our prayers on June 2 will be particularly focused on President Trump. In all our years of missionary activity, we have never seen any other president face the incessant attacks that daily come against Donald Trump. We are simply interceding that God would protect, strengthen and guide him and his advisors. We pray that he will be endowed by the Holy Spirit with Solomonic wisdom and Davidic courage as he takes on the many challenges facing our nation.

In the words of Franklin Graham,

“On June 2, we ask that pastors would lead their congregations in praying for the President, that Sunday schools and other groups would join together and pray, and that individuals and families across the country would have a special focus on praying for the President that day.”

Please don’t forget to also pray for Faith & Liberty as your missionaries to our nation’s public policy makers. At this challenging moment in American history, we’ve never seen such partisan hostility on the Hill or sensed as much spiritual darkness. At the same time, we have never seen as many doors of opportunity for ministry as are opening to us right now – including a very special outreach happening this week to our federal judges. Praise God!
