Two years ago, one of the first actions of the Trump administration was to prohibit tax-payer funding from going to international organizations that promote or provide abortions. We applauded that action as a big win for the culture of LIFE -- but how the times have changed in just two short years!

One of the very first acts of the new leadership in the House of Representatives was the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2019, which effectively repeals the Trump policy. It also increases abortion funding for the United National Population Fund, which participates in coercive abortions and involuntary sterilization. 

Thank God this heinous law will never get past the Senate. But it indicates the pro-abortion mindset that has infected the hearts and minds of too many Members of the House. They are radically committed to an agenda that supports Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion forces.

We founded this gathering years ago as a national memorial to the pre-born and their mothers and fathers, and it has become a major payer event just before the National March for Life.
